What is wheatpasting?

Wheatpasting is a way to put paper posters on walls and boards using a water-based paste. Brands use it for music, film, launches and local awareness.

Wheatpasting is run by Air Fresh Marketing. The photos show our street crews on other programs. We have not published a wheatpaste case study yet.

Why brands use it

  • Seen on foot by people in the neighborhood
  • Posters stay up for days or weeks
  • Strong look at street level
  • Easy to focus on a few blocks

What to know first

Where you can post matters a lot. Some walls are leased for poster ads. Others are not. See our permits page.
